Answer
1. All airlines have their own, individual changeover times, and these may be different on different routes.
2. Many airlines have an intermediate season, often referred to as the 'shoulder season'.
3. In general winter after Christmas till about 2-4 weeks before Easter is off-season. October and early November are often also cheap.
Some airlines don't distinguish between seasons, but just try to fill all their seats.
