For 2009, Daylight Saving Time (DST) will end on the second Sunday, March 8, 2009, at 2 AM, and start again in 2009 on the 2nd Sunday at 2 AM, which is November 1, 2009. The new start and stop dates were set in the Energy Policy Act of 2005, which first took effect in 2007.
Daylight Saving Time - for the U.S. and its territories - is NOT observed in Hawaii, American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and by most of Arizona (with the exception of the Navajo Indian Reservation in Arizona).
