When doing bench presses do you count the weight of the bar as well?

Answer

Yes, you count the weight of the bar

Answer

A lot of bodybuilders, myself included, just talk about what is on the bar in the gym, ie I'm lifting 60 kilo's, not, I'm lifting 67.5, 75 or 85 kilo's, depending on which of the 3 variants I'm on at the time.

A lot of your 'ahem' upmarket gyms, don't know the weight of their bars, or even the weight of their stacks, which leaves it to the realm of 'guestimation' at best.
