There has been no DOE (date of execution) for Routier. Her family have been working very hard to sway public opinion in her favor, and it seems to be working. But the state of Texas will not stop an execution of a woman just because of her sex. Just ask Karla Fay Tucker.

The latest round of dna testing has been done and Dallas County District Attorney John Creuzot's office is still withholding the results. Since Creuzot is adamantly opposed to the death penalty it's safe to safe the results weren't favorable to Routier.

John Creuzot's connection to The Innocence Project is well known and the IP now represents Routier. I don't think her execution date will be anytime soon if ever.

You can't ask Karla Fay tucker. She was executed. And I must say, Karla Fay Tucker was a far more sympathetic figure than Darlie Routier. John Creuzot and the Innocence Project with all their legal maneuvering are what's keeping Routier alive. That's it.

An execution date has not been set. She is still going through the appellate process. They are awaiting new DNA testing results as well.
