What time should a nine year old go to bed?

In Seventh Grade, I went to sleep at 9:30pm on school nights, because I had homework to do after sports. On weekends I usually stayed up till 11:00pm. You need 9hrs of sleep all the time! On weekends, I didn't wake up till 9am.

11 year old's need 9-10 hours sleep, it totally depends on the girl/boy though, some kids can get through a day and be absolutely fine with just 5-8 hours sleep, however that is not a great amount of sleep... Try around 10pm, this should be a suitable time, but if the kid seems to be struggling through days and gets moody this can be a sign of tiredness and maybe you could make it 9:30pm. Sleepovers, party's esc esc should be exiting and special for staying up late!
