[Edit] |
[Edit]
this isn't by any means an authoritative answer, but i find (in SoCal, at least) that i find the most variety of shells can be found late winter, early spring. late december through february i've found conches, cones, periwinkles and moon snails. always a bit after high tide, of course... and tons of sand dollars. hope this helps!
