When is the best time to catch a hammerhead shark on animal crossing?

They're in the ocean all year. All of them have a fin sticking up, so look for a large shadow with a fin (it may be another finned fish, like an ocean sunfish, though). Catch the shadow and chances are it will be a shark. If it's not, don't give up, wait till' tomorrow and there will probably be another one somewhere. Good luck!

Usually when it is rainy and i believe also the spring time is when they are best catchable.

I thought this specific date was a load of BS, quite honestly. I tried it. I did not catch 5 sharks like the person above, but I caught 1 shark, 1 sunfish, 1 eel, and 3 jellyfish by doing that. So, it does actually work to a degree. Whoddathunkit?

P.S. there so rare that sometimes there not even sharks there shark fins on bottles

if you see a fish with a fin it will be an Ocean Sunfish, a Hammer Head Shark, or a Shark
