The time of the year that you can see Mars the best depends on the year. This time changes yearly. It could be sometime in the early morning, in the summer, or whenever. It must be checked at the start of each year unless conditions are projected for a set number of upcoming years.
Mars is clearly visible in the pre-dawn eastern sky, after about 4 AM or so.
But if you're looking to see "Mars as big as the FULL MOON!!!!", then you are bound to be disappointed; it will never happen. Sorry.
It is impossible to predict when to travel because a storm might appear when you want to go at any moment.
The best time to travel to Mars in terms of orbit is during opposition -- that is, when Mars is closest to Earth.
That's different each year. The best times are during the Mars Oppositions, when Mars gets as close to Earth as it normally gets in its orbit. Check the link below for a list of Mars Opposition dates.
Mars will reach opposition (its closest point of approach) in January 2010. This happens about every 26 months.
In September 2009, Mars rises in the East about 3 AM or so. It is visible in the eastern sky just before sunrise.
night
Time of travel would depend upon the speed of the traveler (or the craft containing the traveler).
254 days by the most fuel-efficient orbit, IIRC. Distance doesn't matter as much as travel time, and Mars is pretty close.
It doesn't take years. The total journey time from Earth to Mars takes between 150-300 daysdepending on the speed of the launch, the alignment of Earth and Mars, and the length of the journey the spacecraft takes to reach its target.
Yes. It is possible. In fact, we may travel to Mars soon.
That depends on how close Mars is at the time. Travelling at 300 kph, it would take you almost 40 years if Mars was at the spot it is now when you arrive. When it comes to space travel, 300 kph is extremely slow.
The best thing to travel in would be a space ship. It is a long way to the planet of Mars.
10 years
The time to travel to Mars is approximately 214 days (Earth days of course).
When your investigating about planets!
According to me winter the best time to travel. This is the best time to visit the adventure place. This session is best to enjoy the outside .
manned-not until travel time is reduced. There have been unmanned probes.

The best time to this the tundra is around the winter time.
