When a magnet becomes demagnetized whats really happening is the arrangement of the domains is getting out of particular arrangement.

When electrons are randomly arranged they cancel each others field and overall effect is zero.

When a stronger magnetic field is applied to the object, its magnetic effect can be restored.

In an unmagnetized material, the electron spin creates magnetic fields, but they ar randomly oriented so the net magnetic field of the substance is zero. When the substance is magnetized, the electron spins are re-oriented so that the magnetic fields produces by the spins are parallel, thereby reinforcing each other. If the material is ferromagnetic, then the orientations will remain and the material will have a magnetic field of it's own.

What are electromagents?

Magnets that are turned on by passing an electric current through them, and turned off by not allowing an electric current through them.

Why are electromagnets used in recycling factories?

Because they can be turned off and on again(unlike permanent magnets) they can pick up steel and other magnetic materials that can be recyled and more them to seperate places. Therefore seperating the rubbish.

How does wind energy produce electricity?

The wind turns a blade connected to a transmission, which ensures a consistent speed. The transmission is connected to a generator which produces electricity by magnets being turned around a wire, making electrons flow and producing electricity
