This is a tricky question. If you and your girlfriend are really serious then when she thinks that they are ready. Also the age of the children should be taken into consideration. If they are younger children then they have to be slowly introduced to you. Start off by seeing them as only a friend to their mother and showing no signs of affection in front of them and slowly work your way into their lives (this can take months). If they are in their teens then they will take to the news of their mother dating better.
