Analytical AnswerThis is merely babbling; it is not genuine language of any kind. A Hebrew speaker would only have to listen for a few seconds to know it's not Hebrew. In fact, no study has ever shown this is any kind of language. People can become so overwhelmed with their faith, that they imitate the babbling they've heard before by others of the same faith. Many of the babblers sincerely believe they are speaking in tongues. Some know it's fake, but want the attention.

Some Christians simply believe this is G-d's language and has no meaning in any human language. Their is no way to argue with faith, but we can show that this "language" has no syntax, or vocabulary.

Christian Answer"In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words;" ~ Romans 8:26

It essentially means that the Holy Spirit speaks through us in words known only to God, not in any language of Man.

Does the church of God believe that speaking in tongues is a sign of the holy spirit baptism?

I do not know the answer to your question, but I can say something about the speaking in tongues. God blesses men to be able to speak in the language of the people they are addressing, even though they have never spoken that language before. He will also bless a people to understand what a person is saying even when he speaks in his own tongue. The one is the Gift of Tongues and the other is the gift of Interpretation of tongues. Speak not in the gift of tongues witout understanding it, or without interpretation.
