You have some protection from hypermagnesemia based on the limited uptake of magnesium.
Most all of that magnesium is passing out in your stool(likely watery stool). That dose is unnecessary high. Assuming you meant 500 mg then negative symptoms may be limited to mild laxative effects. Postive effects as seen in studies include; less migraines, less anxiety, less depression, etc.
