When the light comes on it means get fuel, NOW! Usually you have around 1.5-2 gallons left.
---
For a 2008 suburban LTZ with the drive option knob set to Auto (2 or Auto or 4 High or 4 Low set to Auto) and I can tell you this:
My light just came on and I just pushed in the Fuel Range option button and it showed 50 miles of fuel range left.
So now you can do the math based on your suburban's average gas mileage consumption.
**I would only use the info above for calculating whats left in a Tahoe, avalanche, suburban, etc., not a car such as a Honda or something**
I get about 12mpg so 4 to 6 gallons for me.
More than likely around 25 miles.
Answer50 miles are left when the fuel light comes on in a Dodge Stratus.
After the gas light comes on, you will typically be able to drive a Ford Explorer about 15 miles before it runs out of gas. You should stop and get gas to avoid running out.
If it's a 1.8TD then about 30 miles
Need to know what light comes on. More info needed.
That varies on driving style, ambient temperature, idle time, average speed, etc. It could be any where from 1500 miles to 6000 miles.
Less than fifty miles.
you need to drive between 40 ti 50 miles to pass emission test , if the light comes back before that , you need to fix your car
you do not want to find out ! before the light comes on , head for the gos station, or you will be relaceing the fuel pump at a cost of $900.00 big ones......and that is just the price of the pump!!!!!!
52 miles till empty
please explain more -which light, and meaning of '04combo1.7'
