look in your owners manual. but i think 2005 was changed from 60,000 to 100,000, but double check with Kia service.
this question has been answered under 2000 kia sportage timing belt replacement.
all sportage up thru 2002 have timing belts.then they had a big model change.
65000 miles.
it is auto timed thru the cam shaft and crankshaft sensors. You cannot change it. The timing belt has timing marks when you change the belt in which you line up the crank and cams.
This is a job best left to a professional.
At how many miles do you change timing belt on 2005 dci laguna?
timing chain
when should I change the timing belt on a 2006 kia sportage ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ According to the Gates website ( they make timing belts etcetera ) On a 2006 Kia Sportage ( both the 2.0 liter four cylinder and the 2.7 liter V6 ) ( inspect at 60,000 miles / replace at 80,000 miles , they also show that both engines are interference engines )
The water pump is driven by timing belt, so, replace the timing belt while you are replacing water pump, because you have to take off timing belt to get to water pump.
No belt it is a chain - no changing needed
Open your owners manual and look in the Scheduled Maintenance section. It will list the mileage at which you should change the timing belt if it has one.
The 2005 Ford focus has a timing chain not a belt. No maintenance is required.
