Boston was established as a town on September 7, 1630. It was later reestablished as a city on March 4, 1822. The settlement was established by the Puritans, and is a historic site for American History as many events such as: the Boston Tea Party, the Boston Massacre, and the Battle of Bunker Hill took place.
