Elements aren't invented; they have always been around - somebody just had to discover each one of them. Sorry, I don't know who discovered iron, but since it was being used as early as the Iron Age, I don't suppose anybody knows exactly who discovered it.
If we go way back, iron was probably first discovered in meteorites.
discovered the iron element and when did they discover it?
It is unknown who the first person was to discover the iron atom. However, the first uses of iron have been documented around 1500 B.C.

An unknown person in the Iron Age.
Iron is known from the iron age.

Iron Triad (iron,cobalt,nickel)
It is an atoms chemical properties that determine whether it is iron or manganese or aluminium. These properties are (to a first approximation) controlled by the number of electrons in the outermost shell.A single atom is the smallest unit that has the chemical properties.Anything smaller is electrons or protons, or neutrons ... .
Because iron oxide is not iron and the chemical/physical properties of substances are different.
Density and melting point are different.
iron
colour is different and so is some others
Pure iron has bad mechanical properties.
The magnetic properties of iron are high susceptibility and low retentivity. It means that it is easier to magnetize but also loses magnetism easily. The properties of steel are the opposite of iron.
nothing
it can rust
thermal conductivity of iron ore
density, conductivity.

The symbol for Great Northern Iron Ore Properties in the NYSE is: GNI.
Iron-55 and iron-59 are used to study the way in which red blood cells develop in the body. These studies can be used to tell if a person's blood is healthy.
