Porta potty for a chemical toilet or Outhouse for a pit toilet.
Deep hole. Outhouse should be comfortable size. IE getting coat on and off. Natural light source is very nice. Tight seat cover prevents pit venting into the outhouse. A six inch tube should allow pit to vent outside, at least 8 feet above ground level. Tube can go beside or through out house. Probably better if through the bench box, which will be the highest spot above the pit. Screened vents in occupant areas of outhouse also create nice fresh airflow.
Thomas Crapper. no really no lie.
A pit privy is a latrine with an outhouse over it. A hole is dug in the earth, an outbuilding is placed over it for convenience and privacy, and people use it for sanitary elimination. (A latrine is simply a hole or trench that is used for human elimination, then covered as needed.) A pit privy may be covered as needed and the outhouse building above moved to a new location.
The Outhouse was created in 2003.
In 1976? No one in the US, I'd guess. The closest would be the companies that rent port-a-potties. Anyway, outhouses were not cleaned, if you mean removing the you-know-what from the pit. They just dug a new pit, moved the outhouse over it, and covered the old pit with dirt.
Outhouse by far.
Outhouse - venue - was created in 1984.
Saturn Outhouse was created in 1989.
Our answer was to cover the "filling" with a healthy amount of lime, cover that with dirt, dig a new hole and move the outhouse o the new hole. Still works after all these years although with minimal use, it comes up very seldom. Trick is to toss some lime in there on a regular basis to control odor and break down the filling.
an antonym for outhouse will be an bathroom thats inside with plumbing
