Sasuke has always been so set on revenge for his clan. First he was set on killing his brother itachi, then he was set on destroying konoha.

When she pulls out her poisoned Kunae (Or however you spell it) karin says, "Sasuke, don't" Sakura turns around and Sasuke is inches away from hitting her with his chidori...then....KAKASHI TO THE RESCUE. lol he grabs sakura and kicks sasuke and then tells her that she doesnt need to carry such a burden and that it is his responsibility as team leader to do so... this goes on a long time so who really knows be patient go kiss a random hott guy or something...lol :P

He first leaves with the sound ninja five to join Orochimaru. Naruto and some other genin leave on a mission to find him, but Naruto gets the crap beaten out of him by Sasuke. Then in Shippuden Sasuke eventually kills Orochimaru and forms his own to team to hunt down Itachi Uchiha. Just watch the show on narutoget.com to watch what happens after, there's a long story.

No he will not return as it states in the manga and he can't even if we want's being he's a s-rank criminal criminals that high are threats and cannot return. This is correct. However the manga is different then the series. They follow the same story but different things happen within each one. Even the video games.

Sasuke told Sakura, "If you really want to join me that bad, kill her." But before Sakura could kill Karin Sasuke had his Chidori Jutsu going and was going to kill Sakura but Karin warned Sakura and yeah.. Nothing really happens between them.
