The current specification for IP addresses: (255.255.255.255)
IPv4 uses 32-bit (four-byte) addresses, which limits the address space to 4294967296 (232) possible unique addresses

The new specification for IP addresses: (3ffe:1900:4545:3:200:f8ff:fe21:67cf)
IPv6 has a vastly larger address space than IPv4. This results from the use of a 128-bit address, whereas IPv4 uses only 32 bits. The new address space thus supports 2128 (about 3.4×1038) addresses.

So the internet will run out of space when our current specification limit is reached (pending switch to the new spec)

All Im going to say about this is that the internet is not something that has a specific amount of storage space. The internet is made up of thousands and thousands of servers that have hard drives like a normal computer the only difference is that you can view the files on that server(computer) through a web browser, so really the internet is just growing and growing, because people and companies buy servers all the time, once there online the space in that server(computer) is use-able.

I really hoped that helped, and that i explained it good or alright.

It Is possible to run out of storage, but all our information is stored on servers, and when a server is nearing full the host of the website/server, can buy a bigger storage drive, or they can buy another server to start filling. for example, when you download a file off this internet, your not actually downloading it from the web. your downloading it from a computer/server that has the file on it. and if you upload a picture to Facebook, it will get stored on a Facebook Server. if Facebook were to start running out of space, they could buy a new server and gain more!
