When you are pregnant is it normal to have severe headaches? |
Answer
A lot of women have migraines while pregnant. I even did. I was told that it was from the hormone changes. Let your doctor know that you are having migraines and see what they can suggest.
Answer
I had a headache every single day while I was pregnant. While I am prone to chronic migraines (from ligament damage in neck), I mostly suffered from actual but very bad headaches. You can take tylenol, but if that doesn't work, it is totally safe in most cases to take narcotics (lortab, vicodin, percocet, etc...), but NOT asprin. Pregnancy causes considerable fluid retention in the mucuous membranes, which can also contribute to sinus infections & sinus headaches. Good luck
