A few years back I was close to getting killed in an accident. During that split second I realized what was about to happen, my entire life flashed before my eyes. Everything started going in slow motion and both childhood and adult memories I hadn't thought of in many years rushed through my head. My theorie is that your brain is desperatly searching for prevoius experiences in similar situations from which it hopfully can get a solution to get you out of the danger you are in.

So that right before your life seem to end, he took your life record and play it in your mind in 1 second, to remind you that you are judge for every action and word in your life. And that only through the blood of Christ, and turning away from sin that your record can be cleansed. And that you are given a second chance in life to begin over.
