It likely that you plugged your headphones into the wrong jack. There should be a jack for your headphones on your computer that has the head-phones label on it, not the one with speakers or for a microphone.
Only ipod touches have out loud speakers. to get them to work, your headphones must be unplugged
because no one plays that game on PC anymore its nothing to do with your computer don't worry
Actually you can. Only if you insert an AUX wire into where the headphones go, and connect it to a car AUX connection. But you cannot play music without connecting anything into the headphone slot, only Ipod touche can do that.

It should be able to play sounds and all with or with headphones... Try holding down the power button and turn it off completely then, turn it back on. If it doesnt work, try turning up the volume if that doesn't work either than take it to an apple store to see whats going on. ? Have a nice day!

Make sure that the speaker cable is connected to your computer, your volume on the speakers is turned up and the volume on your computer is turned up. Make sure that no mute options are enabled. If you still can't hear sound, try using another program that plays sound.
