You'll be stuck with them for quite a while. Mine just disappeared when I was 20 or something. At first they are dark red, then they became white at 16, then they disappeared completely at 19 or 20.

You can try and help your skin on a daily basis by taking cold shower (or putting your shower to cold for 15 secs at athe end) everyday to tone your skin. Try putting some vitamin e (Aloe Vera, Almond Oil, etc.) on it to and massage them. should help your skin a bit but time will do most of the job.
