Muslims worship Allah SWT at the mosque/masjid. A mosque to a Muslim is like a church to a Christian. Also, Muslims go on a pilgrimiage to Mecca and see the Kaaba or Allah's house.

A Muslim can pray anywhere be it in the sea the land or their own home. but preferably a Muslim prays in a mosque

If you mean by worship the ritual praying, then they pray in Masjid (or mosque) ans also are allowed to pray at home, office, open air areas, or any other clean dry place.

The Masjid/Mosque was created rather early in the history of religious Islam (less than 30 years after the first Islamic prayers). Prior to this, Muslims would pray in private homes or at the Kaaba.

Muslims perform their ritual prayers worship either at home, in mosques (called in Arabic Masjid), in office, in flight, or in any closed or open air areas and other places provided being dry and free from dirt.

The other Worship of Pilgrim (called in Arabic Hajj) should be performed in certain specific places located in Saudi Arabia (most famous of them is Mecca).

Worship of Almighty Allah has two aspects:

1. Belief in the Sovereignty of Allah Karim

2. Offering prayer and acting upon the teachings of Islam.

The Muslims keep following things in mind while worshiping Almighty Allah:

There is no god, but Almighty God Whom the Muslims worship. This is the basic belief of the Muslims. He is the Same and Only God Who sent about 1, 25, 000 Prophets for the guidance of human beings. He is the Sole Creator, Sustainer, Provider, Protector and Ruler of all the worlds He has created. He has No Son, No Parents, No Off-spring, No Partner. He is All-Merciful, Oft-Forgiving, Oft-Returning and the Sole Master of the day of Judgement. The Christians and the Jews also worship the same God called Allah in Arabic.

The Muslims must obey the Commands of Allah Karim given in the holy Qur'an. The last Prophet of Islam Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (SAW) explained the Qur'an and the teachings of Islam. The Muslims surrender their will to the Will of almighty God and the teachings of the holy Prophet (SAW). In all matters of life, the Muslims must uphold the teachings of Islam.
