Not to my knowledge. Carson had three sons. One of them was killed when his car went over a cliff, but no drugs or alcohol were involved, he was evidently trying to take a photograph while driving when it happened. His other children have been very low-key, and live private lives.

Yes. The great late-night television host (1925-2005) had three sons from his marriage to first wife Jody Wolcott: Christoper, Richard and Cory. Richard, known as Rick, was a 39-year-old photographer when he was killed on June 21, 1991 in a one-vehicle accident near Cayucos, California.

After the accident, Carson paid tribute to his late son, proudly showing some of his photographs at the end of a "Tonight Show" installment. "He was an exuberant young man, fun to be around," Carson said. "He tried so darn hard to please."
