The Moorman Mfg Co., and Moorman Feeds, became part of ADM (Archer Daniels Midland Co.) when the company was purchased by ADM in about 1997. Some Moorman Feed products continued to be made and marketed under the old Moorman Feed logos and brand name after that time, but changes were being made to reduce costs, and many product changes were continuing to be made during this period of time. In approx. 2001-2002 the Moorman brand name became part of a company that ADM organized that was eventually named ADM Alliance Nutrition. Several other feed companies were also assembled under this corporate umbrella (including Tindle Mills, and Supersweet, et. al.), and the corporate office for the combined companies was established in the old Moorman office in Quincy, IL, where it remains today (Sept. 2009). Many things changed with the many reorganizations that the company went through in the 1990s and early 2000s, and while some feed products bearing the old Moorman logos may still be found made today, it is my personal opinion that the quality products you are searching for are no longer being made.
