Where are the evil spirits during the millennium reign?

In the book of Revelation... the chronology of prophetic world events bring the reader to "chapter 19" -- the prophetic description of the day of Jesus' return [the Day of the Lord]... "making war" [verse 11] against the armies and military might of the nations of man [who have been gathered to a place called in the Hebrew tongue; Armageddon, by Satan, the Beast and the False Prophet - chapter 16].

Following on the heels of Jesus's triumphant defeat of man's attempt to stop Him -- chapter 20 opens with the capture and utter restraint of Satan the Devil. A secure "spiritual chain" is set upon him, and he is "shut up and sealed" and removed from the world for the thousand year rule of Christ:

"...that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: after that he must be loosed a little season." (Rev.20:3)

With the restraint and removal of their leader and master, Satan, during the Millennial Rule of Christ -- it follows, that the influence of his angels [unclean spirits; demons; evil spirits] would also be restrained and removed from influencing the nations during this time.

During the thousand year rule of the Kingdom on earth... sin will not be tolerated by the King and His kings and priests, who will be ruling the nations with a "rod of iron."

He [Jesus Christ]: "...hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth." (Rev.5:10)

The only "evil influence" that will be left on earth during the thousand year rule of the Kingdom of God on earth... will be "man's rebellious human nature." That rebellious attitude against which Jesus and His kings and priests will be teaching the nations to "overcome"... and "repent."

That will require the "Living Waters" [the powerful current] of the Holy Spirit surging among all the nations... the unfettered "Spirit of Truth," Knowledge and Understanding flowing freely in the hearts and minds of all men.

There will be no twisting of God's Truth by the "spirit realm." There will only be the loving, healing, and teaching of the nations God's ways by God's Children.

There will be "world peace" for the thousand year absence of wicked spirit influences among the nations.

"...the fruit of the Spirit is Love, Joy, Peace, Longsuffering [patience], Gentleness, Goodness, Faith, Meekness, Temperance: against such there is no law." (Gal.5:22-23)

"And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for ALL SHALL KNOW ME, from the least to the greatest. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more." (Heb.8:11-12)

What evil "unrepentant men" remain after Jesus returns... they will be removed also from influencing the nations.

"...so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be. Then shall be two in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left..." (Matt.24:39-41).

Most people attribute these passages to something they call "the rapture." But the chronology of them is AFTER Jesus returns [verses 30-31].

And most people don't stop to think that the "wicked generation" of Noah's day wasn't "left behind" -- NOAH WAS!

It was the wicked who "were taken"... not Noah.

"The Son of Man shall send forth His angels, and they shall gather OUT OF HIS KINGDOM ALL THINGS THAT OFFEND, and them which do iniquity; and shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth." (Matt.13:41-42)

The thousand year rule of Jesus Christ on earth will work toward the "conversion" of the nations to the Righteous ways and teachings and Truth of God... which begins with the the "human spirit."

Righteous actions follow righteous thinking.

And this will be a tough enough job to accomplish without the evil influences of invisible Satan and his angels running loose on the earth, as they do at this time.

The thousand year rule of Jesus Christ will be His REST. God's "seventh thousand-year day" of His seven thousand year-week plan. It will be the SABBATH OF THE LORD. Man's 6000-year work-week of sin and wickedness will end... and God's Righteousness will be taught, globally, among all the nations during His Rest.

And there will be no Satan... or unclean spirits... around to interfere with that Rest.
