on the camshaft pulley there are six notches located on the inside lip closest to the block. there is a 2in pin at the 1 o'clock position when viewed from the front. each notch is a certain degree I have yet to verify.

no. even tho they might use the same QR25DE engine their still different that's why you can find a turbo for a sentra and not a altima its the same block pretty much but headers n trans are different.
Look for the thermostat housing on the back side of the block on the upper left-hand side.
cam timing will not change ignition timing i would try 8 or 10 degees advance at idle with the vacuum advance disconnected.
