When the level starts, select Luke to shoot at the two Stormtroopers who are firing at your location. Select R2 and fly towards the area, where those Troopers were, and have him hit the switch with the R2 logo. This will extend a bridge for Luke to jump across. Select back to Luke and use the Force on the wing of his X-Wing, giving him a jumping platform to continue towards the right. In the next room, destroy the Stormtroopers hanging out, then select R2 and communicate with the door. This will bring out a crate for you to push onto the designated spot. Destroy the object against the wall to the left of the pushable surface, assemble the LEGO pieces with your hands, and then use the force on it to assemble a turret for you to hop into. Using the turret, blast down the doorway blockage to continue down the hallway, and have R2 communicate with the doorway to enter the Carbon Freezing chamber, where you'll face Vader.

While fighting Vader, work in tandem with R2. After Vader takes a few hits, he'll jump around your character and onto one of the circular vent shafts. Select R2 and have him communicate with the terminal, emblazoned with his logo, to send steam up into a vent shafts, inflicting damage to Vader. Keep this up until Vader runs away and a few Stormtroopers show up on the adjacent platform. Deflect their blasters and then hop into the crane's cockpit. Pick up R2 with the crane, place him by the doorway with his logo on it, and he will communicate with the controls to extend a bridge for you to jump onto. (If he's just standing there doing nothing, turn "Self Destruct" off.) Run back over to where you entered into the Carbon Freeze chamber, and put on a Stormtrooper helmet to bypass the Stormtrooper doorway, which is located on the platform to the far right of the room. This is your only exit. Go!

Once outside, run after Vader and rotate the air-shaft propellers that allow you to jump up to the next platforms. This will be repeated a few more times throughout this side-scrolling section -- its standard stuff for you at this point. Once you make it into the room, use the Force on the grey and blue Lego pieces to your left, making a ramp. Now assemble the elevator platform to your right, and assemble a turnstile in the middle of the level. Each time Vader takes two hearts worth of damage, he will jump up to a high platform. When this happens send R2 up either the ramp (left) or the elevator platform (right), depending which side Vader is standing on the air-vents (left or right side respectively). Use this pattern until Vader runs away, allowing you to continue right through the level.

Run to your right until you're on a large platform attacked by Stormtroopers. Deflect their bolts back at them, switch to R2, and have him safely fly towards the Troopers platform, communicating with the appropriate panels, temporarily stopping the spawning of Troopers. Vader will use the Force to throw crates at Luke. Fly back towards Luke in order to switch to his character and once the crates fly at you, use the Force to fling them back at Vader. Do this four times and he will run away...again. Use the Force on the broken glass to form a bridge to walk across, and pursue Vader into the final section of this level.

While running to the left, you'll find a pile of Lego parts to use as a small ramp leading up to Vader. Chase after Vader and have R2 take control of the elevator platform, which will send you up towards Vader to attack him for the final showdown. A good attack here is your double-jump attack with the Lightsaber, coming down on Vader.

Minikit Locations:

1. At the beginning of the level, behind the two Stormtroopers firing at you, is a Minikit protected by a metal fence. Fly over there with R2, then switch to the Bounty Hunter, and plant a grenade on the metal fence.

2. When you enter the narrow hallway, after you blew open the doors in the previous section, head to your immediate left and enter the Bounty Hunter only entrance to grab the Minikit.

3. In the Carbon Freeze chamber, use a Dark Side Force Character such as the Emperor on the control panel near the crane. The Carbon Freeze chamber will then open up. Jump into the crane and pick up a storm trooper and drop them into the Carbon Freeze chamber. The Minikit comes out of the chamber and needs to be built.

4. Near the first propeller fan you construct. Shoot at the Wall on the upper level and a small platfom shall drop, double hump onto this and the double jump again to get the Minikit

5. Before you exit this area, go to the top platform and use R2D2 to get the Minikit:).

6. Jump straight up on the second constructed propeller fan (the same one you used in step #4) to get this Minikit.

7. In the room with the turnstile in the middle, use a small character (Jawa or Ewok) to walk into the small hole and pop out into the caged room with a Minikit.

8. In the area where Stormtroopers attack you and Vader throws crates at you, perform the double-jump attack with the Lightsaber onto the small rectangular area.

9. After you build the blue ramp and Vader attacks you on the small platform, jump away from this platform towards the screen to grab this Minikit.

10. At the end of the level, during your last confrontation with Vader, use a Stormtrooper to enter the room to the left of the hand-chopping incident.
