Where are the spark plugs located on a 1999 2.4L Hyundai Sonata?

[Edit]

Answer

The spark plugs are located under the intake manifold. Nightmare of a design........ Had a shop quote 280.00 due to the labor involved. Hope this helps.

Answer

ON A 2.4L 4 CLY ENGINE THE SPARK PLUGS ARE ON TOP OF THE ENGINE. THERE SHOULD BE 2 IGNITION COILS THAT HAVE 2 10MM BOLTS EACH HOLDING THEM DOWN AND 2 PLUG WIRES THAT POP OFF. THE 2.5L AND 2.7L V-6 ENGINES HAVE 3 SPARK PLUGS UNDERNEATH THE INTAKE MANIFOLD WHICH MUST BE REMOVED.
