On the 23 June 2011 J.K Rowling announced Pottermore. Part of the Pottermore store will include online audio-books and e-books. This will be the
only place you can legally obtain a Harry Potter e-book.
The site and store will not open until October.
Any copies found on torrents or as downloads are not legally posted. JK Rowling, the author of Harry Potter, warns against using these sites. She advised that in addition to the fact that are not legal, they can also be a personal security risk.
This was taken directly from J.K Rowlings website.
You should NEVER trust any Harry Potter e-books offered for download from the internet or on P2P/file-trading networks. Setting aside the fact that these books are illegal (there are no authorised HP e-books to date), they may infect your computer with viruses, leave you vulnerable to the dangers of hacking and/or credit card fraud and may also contain content that has nothing to do with Harry Potter, to say the least.
