There is not a specific program that will allow you to do that, but your computer is set up to where if your computer overheats, it will shut down automatically. To stop it from overheating, try getting rid of the dust that is most likely clogging the CPU fans. This can easily be done with a can of air. Also, keep the computer away from carpets and keep it out of cramped spaces to allow it to breathe. If you have a laptop, try placing it on a table instead of keeping it in your lap, because this tends to make the computer get warmer, quicker. These couple solutions should definitely help with your overheating problem. If it keeps overheating after you have done all that, make sure that all of your cooling devices (CPU Fans) are working properly.
