I think you might use laptop right now. The scrolling feature is the basic and very useful function that you can scroll the screen just with your finger up and down in the right side of your touch pad. If you want to turn it off, you can go to Control Panel\Mouse and change the corresponding settings or just see the manual coming with your laptop. On a HP Compaq nc6320: Control Panel -> Mouse -> Hardware (Tab) -> Properties -> Advanced Settings (Tab) -> Wheel Detection: Detection Disabled Disadvantages: - scrolling by pressing MB1 and sliding your finger on the pad is also disabled - requires a reboot
