Well I recently found that the OTC drug percogesic stopped putting Phenyltoloxamine in its product and replaced it with Benadryl so I went on-line and sure enough Amazon I believe it was has an OTC drug called "Aceta-gesic"which has the Phenyltoloxamine citrate as well as the acetaminophen. It is a lot less expensive as well. Like $ 2.65 for a bottle of 100. ( I bought 4) I am now trying to find out where I can just purchase the Phenyltoloxamine citrate without the Tylenol. Due to the fact that I do not want to ingest it ( Tylenol) I have used these pills for great sleep for over 10 years and tried benadryl but it just isnt the same. If you or anyone knows where I can fine the Phenyltoloxamine Citrate I would sure like to know.. Gary H. in Florida

It means 'citrate of potassium' - from a chemist?
yes you can use either trisodium citrate or sodium citrate
Citrate is the salt, an ester of citric acid, and the polyatomic anion that is found in solution. The ester can be triethyl citrate and the salt can be a trisodium citrate.
Citrate Permease is an enzyme that is responsible for transporting citrate inside the cell. Some bacteria have this enzyme while others do not. You can test for the presence of citrate permease by performing a Simmon's Citrate biochemical test.
yes it is
Sodium citrate
sodium citrate bond
Potassium citrate is an alkaline salt.
Any supermarket in the medicine section, it goes by the name Epsom Salt. (its in a blue box)
Ammonium citrate formula is: C6H14N2O7.
Citrate, a Krebs cycle (i.e., TCA cycle or citric acid cycle) intermediate, is generated by many bacteria; however, utilization of exogenous citrate requires the presence of citrate transport proteins (permeases). Upon uptake by the cell, citrate is cleaved by citrate lyase to oxaloacetate and acetate. The oxaloacetate is then metabolized to pyruvate and CO2.
