Original 1960s versions of the Peel P50 are very rare and are hardly ever for sale, with only 50-70 ever being made and only about 20 or so still in existence.
However there is a company in the UK called Peel Engineering who have started to produce road legal versions of the Peel P50 and it's sister car the Trident. They have a 49cc 4 stroke Gas (petrol) version or a 3 Kilowatt Electric version with a 50-60 mile range. I understand the performance of these vehicles is very similar to the original.
The link to their site is below.

The Peel P50's claim to fame was being a microcar, but not any microcar. The Peel P50 has held the record for the world's smallest car ever since its creation in the 1960's.
Children can drive the peel p50 but not on public roads. Only on a closed road with not cars around.
