Acetone is the solvent to use, available at most hardware stores.
If all you need is a small amount, nail polish remover is primarily acetone.
ANS 2 -'Loctite' Glue Remover is available at many good hardware stores.

Home Depot and Walmart sell Goof Off, which almost always softens and removes Super Glue.
Most varieties of super glue will work. However, I've found the Loctite version to be best for windows. This is sold as 'Loctite Auto Mirror Adhesive'.
It can be used to glue skin and small wounds.
Elmer's, Super Glue, Krazy Glue, Gorilla Glue, Araldite, J B Weld, Shoe Goop.
There are glue removers you can buy at stores, or you can use nail polish remover. If you do, use it in a well ventilated area, such as outside or with a window open nearby.
Unspring the button then glue it to windshield with 'Loctite' Auto Mirror Adhesive,
Acetone
About 3-5 minutes.
