How do you download hair styles for the sims 3?

DestinysHeart answer below there are loads of good sites XMsims Raonsims2 ModTheSims (you will probably need meshes from other sites but links to them should be there) there are more but i can't remember the names, anyone else feel free to add more to my answer... happy simming!

Go to a site like ModTheSims.Info, and search for Hairstyles. You can download from there, but most hairstyles require a mesh which you download separately, the site should provide a link though.

You can go on www.sims3.com and download hair from there or buy hair with sim points.

You can go to the mirror. Click on the mirror and select change apperance. You should be able to change the hair like that.
