I would encourage you to visit the following website: www.healthsavings.ourperfectcard.com Out of personal experience, I signed up online about 3 years ago now and they have save my family and I thousands of dollars throughout the years. From Root canals, exams, xrays, cleanings ...etc. All services are included in this very affordable plan. They even had my benefits active in 2 hours and was able to use it the same day. good luck and hope this helps.
Affordable Discount Dental Plans
You might consider a Discount Dental Plan that is not insurance. Monthly premiums for a household could be under $20 and vision, prescription, and chiropractic care are included.
www.sterlingdentalplan.com it only costs like $7 a month and it will save you almost 50%, they have i think 70,000 dentists nationwide, you just walk in with your membership card and you save on the procedures right then and there, great plan for those of us whose employers dont offer dental insurance anymore, or those of us who just can't afford traditional insurace. Sterling dental plan! www.sterlingdentalplan.com
Another Option
We chose www.teamcorp.com/tc3185 and bought the Valu+ plan. It currently (Aug 2006) costs $69/month for the whole family. It has Ameritas Dental, VSP vision, Liberty Medical discount diabetes supplies (my daughter is diabetic), an AD&D plan and an accident supplemental. I think I paid a one time fee of $30 to join the group but well worth it for my family. I was paying well over $100/month for dental alone.
I don't think it is available in all states but most. I hope this helps.
DentalPlans.Com
In my experience, the most reputable discount dental plan site on the net is DentalPlans.com. They feature more than 30 established, well-known dental plans that provide varying levels of care so you can find just the right amount for your family. Family Plans start at around $119 per year for the whole family, and you save 10%-60% on both routine and specialty dental care depending on the plan. On this site, you will find many national plans that likely have participating dentists in your area.
