List it on web site called racingjunk.com. It's free to list items but they would like you to make a donation to the site if you sale the item. Also look for classic muscle car sites that let you list items. I would guess this motor came out of truck but you can never tell what ideas someone has for that big of a motor.
Some do, some don't. The distributor, starter and alternator fit, the water pump does not. The mounting brackets are all different.
There are many places where one could purchase small block Chevy heads. Some of the best places to purchase small block Chevy heads at places like Amazon or Auto Zone.
No, the Chevy 454 has a long stoke and requires a big block. However, it is possible to build a 454 small block using aftermarket parts. You'll need some high flowing heads to make it work.
that must be some metro to have a big block
9/16 and I have seen some 1/2 inch.
You can find price quotes for 2004 Chevy pickup trucks, including some in your area, on www.cars.com and www.ebay.com.
YOU CAN EITHER TELL BY THE HARMONIC BALANCER THE 350 IS THICKER THAN THE 305 OR YOU CAN TELL BY LOOKING ON THE BLOCK ON THE FRONT OF THE PASS SIDE HEAD THERE IS A FLAT SPOT ON THE BLOCK THERE SHOULD BE SOME NUMBERS AND LETTERS FIND THE LETTERS AND CALL A PARTS STORE
I'm not sure why you'd want to put a small block Chevy in that Pontiac. But some things to keep in mind....most of the engine wiring is on the opposite side. You'll need to change engine mounts on the frame and you'll also have to make sure to get a Chevy transmission as the B.O.P.C trannys won't bolt to a Chevy.
Because people want to hide ther privacy to others. its stupid but people do it any ways if some one wants to find out where you live they can find out any ways just a waste of time to block it but that's the answer.
305 is the same distributor as a 350 will even fit some big block chevy's.
NO. Depends on the year. On the pre-fuel injected motors, all Chevy V-8 engines used the same distributor. Use some common sense, a 1968 distributor is not the same as a 1980, but you get the idea. Use one from the same era as your vehicle.
everybody has a 350 but not everyone has a 396, the 396 is a lot more expensive to rebuild but the torque from that big block is worth it.
