Go to this site and download the ballistics calculator. I find it to be extremely accurate. Good luck! http://www.winchester.com/learning-center/Pages/Ballistics-Calculator.aspx
You will have to shoot it to find out.
Ballistics is a function of several factors. Barrel length, bullet weight, etc. Here is a site you can download a free ballistics program with clickable variables. Want to see the path of the bullet from your 94 30-30 at 300 yards? Just click on the ammunition you're interested in and click "fire". I've used it for some time and it's a great little program. http://www.tripolistriggers.com/nss-folder/ballistics/ Update: That link is no longer active, and I wasn't able to find another similar. Your best option is try the Winchester web page (http://winchester.com/products/catalog/rifle.aspx ) and select the appropriate options from the right hand side of the page.
it depends on the type of bullet and the model of the gun, you could easily find out more information by visiting websites that deal with the ballistics of ammunition
Gun shows, pawn shops, gun shops, on line retailers, sporting goods stores.
Ammo for your .351 can be had at Old Western Scrounger. Go to www.ows-ammo.com and click on ammuntion.
Its somewhat of a misprint but if your comparing the .280 and the 30-06 then its apple to apples. They both have almost identical ballistics with the same run of the mill 150 gn. bullet. One advantage I see is you can get heavier loads for the 30-06. They also might be easier to find in stores if your not a handloader. If your referring to the 30-30 Winchester then your comparing apples to oranges. The 30-30 has a much lower velocity, bullet energy and trajectory. Although it is an American standard for short range deer rifles, its not quite what the .280 is. FYI most of the major ammunition manufacturers of ballistics tables and comparing charts free to use. I like Federal's interactive download! Good Luck
Proofhouse.com has sn tables you can use to find out.
YOu will have to contact the maker to find out
You will need to check with a large gunshop, or with an on-line ammo supply company. It IS available- but you will not find it at WalMart. The price of .348 Winchester ammo may be a shock to you- it is about $4-$5 per cartridge.
You may have a problem there. What I find on the 90-22 is that it was intended for 22 Long only. Those may be a little hard to find. Some of the older guns are not safe to shoot with modern amunition anyway since the new stuff is a lot more powerful than it was 100 years ago. .22 cal. Winchester Rim Fire Ammunition manufactured by Winchester is available at most all quality firearms dealers. (Not at Big 5, Wal-Mart, and the like.)
You have to tell us what caliber it is. It should be marked on the left side of the barrel. The Model 1894 was chambered for almost every cartridge available, so depending on which one it is you may be able to find ammunition at WalMart and you may have to pay big dollars to get some from a specialty manufacturer like the Old West Scrounger.
