Both Haynes and Chilton offer completely acceptable repair manuals that show the R&R process step-by-step for do-it-yourselfers, EXCEPT the details of the machining that should anyway be given out to a good machine shop. Older part no. for a Chilton book is 7462, the current book is no. 28260; don't know the Haynes part no.s. these are available through amazon marketplace in used versions for about 1 to 5 USd plus shipping, and the current printing might be available at car parts stores too. Finally, Cadillac has offered their own, much more detailed manuals for different years; these can still be found at eBay for around 10 to 40 dollars.
