Condo insurance in some areas, such as South Florida, has been growing increasingly scarce, but it is still available. To find the best coverage for the best price, I recommend looking for an independent agent in your area. These are agents who work with a number of companies, and can often find you more options than one who works for just one.
If you have the time, you may even want to pick two or three and interview them before choosing one, to make sure you're picking the right agent for you. A good insurance agent will be able to help you meet all of your insurance needs, not just the ones one or two companies want to sell.
