I would encourage you visit this website. www.healthsavings.ourperfectcard.com I signed up online about 3 years ago now for all my dental needs from root canals, extractions, cleanings, exams, etc. All services are included (dentures, orthodontics and cosmetic surgery) They have saved me thousands throughout the years. They even had my benefits active in 2 hours and was able to use it the same day. Good luck and hope this helps.

Answer
I just signed my father up for the dental plan through AARP. It's ~ $550 a year for insurance coverage but it's a good plan. www.aarp.com
Answer
AARP is good. Also, many of the companies that offer Medicare Supplements also offer Senior Dental Plans. Here in California Blue Cross has a good plan.
Another alternative is New Dental Choice which is the only California state licensed dental discount plan and it is currently available in California and Arizona. It is not insurance. All dental procedures are discounted with no limitations, deductibles, waiting periods, or claim forms to bother with. It has over 14,000 dentist and specialist locations. http://www.newdentalchoice.com
