Betsy Ross (born January 1st 1752) sied January 30 th 1836 at the age of 84 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Betsy Ross was the creator of the American Flag. She was buried at the Quaker's Burial for the Deceased Ground. Later she was moved to St. Moriahs Cemetery, where she lies today.

Besti Ross died in 1836 at the age of 84. (An especially long life in those days) I would imagine she most likely died of "natural causes". My husband and I find it intriguing that no one dies of "old age" or "natural causes". It's interesting to see obits where somone in the mid-nineties died after "a long illness", "heart attack", etc. What ever happened to just dying of "old age"? Dying just happens to be a side efffect of living(lol)
