Where did Chinese dance originate from?

The first Chinese, the Huaxia people, originated in Yunnan. They were a combination of Tibetics from Tsinghai and the Old Malayics of Yunnan; they were the first Sinitic people. Around 2500 BCE, they were driven out of Yunnan by a massive Daic invasion from the east. They fled down the Yangtze to Szechwan under their leader Xuanyuan. Failing to conquer Szechwan from the Hmongs, they journeyed up the Jialing and crossed the Qin Ling into Shaanxi. Using the Wei River valley as their base, they conquered the central Huang He area and fused with the native Shang or Dongyi people, who were Proto-Austronesians. This blending of the Huaxia and Dongyi, under the Xia Dynasty, was the beginning of the Old Chinese people and the true beginning of China.
