This breed started in Mexico and South US. When the conquisatadors brought horses from Spain, one of them had a "spotted pattern". Thi horse bred with many wild horses and others, and after years of breeding, the spotted pattern became quite common.

It does not matter what kind of horse it is well first you will see it breathing heavy then liquid will come out of its behind (butt) then a white bubble will come out the baby is inside the whit bubble if the bag is not opened the baby could die.so check if it is open if not get gloves and open the bag so it can breath.do not get worried if you see a thing where it pees the mother will bite it off if not cut off called afterbirth it will take hour to 30 min. to have baby stand up

How can you breed from a buckskin horse to get a paint?

Paint is a breed and buckskin is a color. To get a Paint, both parents must be registered Paints. However if you meant a pinto ( a horse showing one or more of several pinto spotting patterns) then what you would need to do is make sure you breed the buckskin colored horse to a pinto marked horse that is homozygous (dominant) for a pinto gene. Typically the easiest pinto pattern to breed for is tobiano.
