The cockroach is from European countries and the United States. Cockroaches have been on the earth for over 300 million years. Fossils of cockroaches have been found that are dated back to the Carboniferous period in the evolution of the earth.

What I do know is that cockroaches can live for ages after their heads get cut off. In fact, they only die of starvation!

I hope this information is useful even though I didn't answer your question.

Like with almost all pest species it is difficult to be certain of where they originated from. And as there are over 4000 species with confusing names like the American cockroach which was most likely was brought across on a boat from Africa.

But to answer your question what most people believe in today is god. Lol that's a joke. What most people believe about the origin of cockroaches is that they originated from tropical and sub-tropical areas of Africa and were transported to other countries by boats. I think that answered your question more than the other person did. no offense intended
