many plants go into antibiotics but we have only discovered just 1% of the plants in the rain forest so the other 99% could help created cures for things such as cancer and HIV. Things such as crocodile blood are being tested at the moment because they can heal there wounds really quickly

No. They are produced by bacteria as a way of defense against other microbes. We noticed that they did that and were able to extract the substance (an antibiotic) to use to kill off microbes that were infecting us.
Some of these microbes do live in soils but the soil itself it not making the antibiotic.
