Cold sores are a form of the herpes virus. Stress, bumping your lip or nothing can bring them on. If you get cold sores, you have a form of herpes. It is not the same as herpes of the crotch.

Im a doctor! Cold Sore are also known as (Herpes Simplex 1)whick are caused by germs that can travel through spit and be tranfered from human to human, again dont think that you have herpes somewhere else it is only in the mouth if it is a cold sore.
