Crabs lay eggs in the shallow waters. It is difficult to see them when they do, because crabs need to molt their shells to breed and so tend to go into hiding until their new shells harden. Also crabs usually carry their eggs around for only a short period before casting them adrift into the currents where they hatch and the "baby crabs" live amongst the plankton for a while. During this time they look more like barely visible prawns. The tides eventually bring them back to shore, where they will molt their shells and change into "proper" baby crabs to spend the rest of their lives amongst the rocks and seaweed.
The lobster is an arthropod animal (There are 4 major classes of anthropoids: insects, arachnids, myriapodas, and crustaceans). Its sexual reproduction is by an external fertilization and development through water. But what does this mean?
When this animals, do what is known as "external fertilization and development" the male ejects the sperm to the water and the female externally fertilize her eggs, forming various eggs or zygotes. Later on, the female lobster carries its eggs attached to the spinnerets (a structure beneath their abdomen) and the male protects her.
Female hermit crabs lay eggs inside their shells and then drop them into the ocean when they are ready to hatch.
Nowhere. It is very rare when hermit crabs reproduce in captivity.
Crayfish lay their eggs in their swimmerets.
It takes about 8 days for a crayfish to lay Its eggs. Once the eggs are laid, they are attached to its body until they hatch.
A crayfish can have as many eggs as it wants it just has to be healthy but I think it can lay 50-200.
Yes, but only if the crayfish eggs are fertile which requires a male. So if you can see the crayfish eggs on the tail of the crayfish that means that the eggs are fertile and will hatch in about 30 days
Yes they do. And mating occurs when the female mud crab is in the soft-bodied condition following moulting. Female mud crabs in Australian populations migrate offshore to spawn and are rarely seen. 2 to 8 million eggs are produced in each spawning. Female crabs incubate the eggs for 2 to 4 weeks under their abdominal flap. For more information on the cycle of the Mudcrab
Both goldfish and lizards are coldblooded vertebrates with tails that lay eggs.

i have a pregant crayfish and i am wondering how long it will take until she has her babies?
The answer depends on the type of shrimp, all penaeid shrimps spawning takes place in the ocean, usually a female produces from 500,000 to 1,000,000 eggs and can spawn many times, it is thought that brown and pink shrimp spawn in October and November, however in some areas spawning occurs during the late winter and early spring. The exact spawning time seems to be in condition with water temperature. White shrimp typically spawn in May and June with some as late as August. Please see related link below!
